The AAT Foundation Award in Accounting Software is a bite-sized qualification which will give you essential practical skills in using accounting software.


It has no entry requirements, and is designed to give you real-world knowledge that you can put to use from day one. It's also a stepping stone to the full AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting, the first step to a successful career in accounting and finance.


The course is accredited by the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), the UK’s largest professional body for accounting technicians, so it’s internationally recognised and sought-after by employers.

Requirements

You don't need any prior experience or qualifications to enrol, but you should have reasonable numeracy and communication skills and an interest in how business works.


You must be over 19, and if English isn't your first language, you'll need an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent.


Please note that if you have a criminal record or have been made bankrupt, AAT may not accept you as a member. This means you won't be able to sit your exams. If you're unsure, please contact AAT directly for advice.
