The AAT Level 2 Course (Foundation) in Accounting offers a grounding in the core accounting knowledge and skills introducing you to the essential accounting principles such as double entry bookkeeping, basic costing procedures, sales ledgers and computerised accounting, as well as how to work effectively in the industry.

The AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting offers more specialist knowledge and skills in accounting building on those developed from Level 2 and focuses on more complex accounting tasks, such as the formal preparation of accounts for sole traders and partnerships, and cash management.

The AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting consists of 5 separate units:

  • Control Accounts, Journals and Banking Syste

  • Work Effectively in Accounting and Finance.

The AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting consists of 6 units:

  • Spreadsheet Software
  • Professional Ethics

Whilst there are no formal entry requirements, to enrol on our Level 2 Certificate and Level 3 Diploma in Accounting (Advanced) combined course, we recommend that you have a basic GCSE qualification in English and Mathematics or a keen interest in Accounting

If English isn't your first language an IELTS 5.5 is required.
