Level 4 Certificate in Management for Travel and Tourism (30 credits)
Overview

The primary purpose of this qualification is to develop your knowledge and understanding of the concepts of Travel & Tourism and to support your progression to further learning in the area of Travel & Tourism at Level 5.

Who is it for

Maximum flexibility with different sized level 4 qualifications for those who only wish or have the time to initially take smaller qualifications and then build up qualifications over time opportunities for learners to develop knowledge and skills, personal qualities and attitudes essential for successful performance in working life optional units in particular specialisms that are directly related to learners’ current responsibilities or that meet a particular interest and support career development opportunities for learners who wish to undertake a full time course of study leading to an Extended Diploma.

Description

Our qualifications in Management for Travel and Tourism at Level 4 have been developed to conform to the requirements of the RQF, to meet the requirements of the sector and to respond to the needs of our centres. These qualifications provide generic management skills for those planning to or working in a management role. The qualifications deliver the skills and knowledge that meet the needs of managers on a domestic and international platform. We provide a flexible route for learners who have already achieved management qualifications at a lower level and for learners who do not have management qualifications, but may have qualifications in other areas and/or prior experience the work place. Requirements

In order to apply you should have either: Secondary Education equivalent to three GCSEs and two A-Levels; or Any qualification at level 3.

Career Path

You should take the Level 4 Certificate if you are relatively new to travel & tourism or are seeking a first management role in travel & tourism, have already either achieved Level 3 qualifications, completed training at this level in a related area to management or have prior, relevant experience in the workplace or want to develop a comprehensive set of knowledge, understanding and skills relating to travel & tourism.
